Printing from Blackboard
It has come to our attention that when students print documents from their online courses, the print queue reads "Spooling." Once the item they wish to print is closed out from the computer screen, the print job will print.
Another option is to have the students save the document to the desktop and then print from the desktop.
Library access through Blackboard
Log into the Online Classroom.
Click on the Student Services tab.
On the left side of the next screen, you will see links to resources and services.
Click on Library Databases
The library homepage, authenticated for off campus use, will be displayed. You may now search multiple databases by using Simple Search or Search by Academic Subject Area. If you prefer, you may search a specific database by clicking on Complete Database List,located in the lower right hand corner of the page.
To access Blackboard
To access Blackboard, click on "Online Tools" found in the white bar at the top of the library or university homepage. On the next screen, click on "Login" from the left hand column. For online classroom use this link: https://cyberactive.bellevue.edu and click on Login from the top of the screen. You will now enter your user name and password.
How to insert images
1. Select an image from the web.
2. Right click on it and save it to the desk top.
3. In blackboard, click on the tree icon in the top tool bar
4. Download the picture

Internet Explorer 8 was recently released. However, this version has not been certified by Blackboard. The term “certified” means that all areas within the Blackboard Learning system are fully functional on the specified browser. If you already have IE 8 installed on your computer, please note that some areas within Blackboard may not function properly. You can uninstall v8 and install a certified browser, use the compatibility mode within v8, or use an alternative browser such as Firefox.
